RoleTuner ("we", "us") helps you tailor a resume to a job description. This policy explains what we collect and why. This is an MVP policy — have counsel review it before a public paid launch in your jurisdiction.

What we collect

• Resume files & job text you upload or paste, processed to extract text, score ATS keyword match, and generate a tailored draft.
• Email address when you sign in (linked to your saved reports and downloads) .
• Basic logs (errors, request metadata) for reliability and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To provide the matching, rewrite, and PDF download features.
• To improve reliability and prevent fraud or API abuse.

AI processing

Resume and job-description text are sent to Google Gemini (or a successor model we configure) to parse, analyze, and rewrite content. Do not upload highly sensitive personal data you are not comfortable sending to our AI provider. Review Google's privacy policy for their processing terms.

Retention

Tailored results in your browser are kept in session storage until you clear them. Server-side credit balances are stored keyed by email. We aim not to keep uploaded resume files after a request finishes; treat uploads as processed in memory for the request lifecycle unless we later add an account feature that explicitly saves documents.
